Responsibilities of All Buyers Using Cutlers Collective Australia

As a quality control we ask that where possible, the vendor maintains a professional peer reviewed membership (such as the Australian knifemakers guild, American bladesmiths guild, or similar), or, can provide a reference from a senior member of one of these organisations (AKG full member, ABA Mastersmith, or similar). This is not intended to force a membership, but to provide the customers a quality guarantee that your work meets an appreciable standard.
All items for sale must comply fully with all Australian laws, not just the ones from the state / territory where it is made / sold from. This information must come directly from the Australian government and should be checked on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.

The vendor must be legally entitled to sell the item listed for sale on Cutlers Collective Australia. The vendor is responsible for ensuring that their product(s) and business practices meet all relevant legal and safety standards, both within Australia and in any other country which that business services. Vendors are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate public liability and other insurances.
Cutlers Collective Australia reserves the right to remove any item/s listed by any vendor who is deemed to be unsuitable as a vendor on Cutlers Collective Australia for any reason. Items will be removed without warning.
The decision to remove any item is final. Refunds for any item removed from sale by Cutlers Collective Australia is at the discretion of Cutlers Collective Australia management and as a general rule, refunds will not be offered.
Any user who repeatedly lists items that are not suitable for sale on Cutlers Collective Australia will be banned.
Vendor subscriptions are paid automatically through the collection from sales. To ensure continuity of service, all subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. Once a vendor makes a sale, the commission and the subscription fee are deducted from the sale and paid directly from the customer to Cutlers Collective Australia. If a vendors fees are not paid in full be the following month, alternative arrangements may be made to avoid the vendor account being suspended or closed. By accepting these terms & conditions on registration you agree to pay your account on time and in full. A failed payment for the same subscription will result in the subscription being cancelled and your store will be taken offline.
If you do not wish to renew your subscription you must cancel your subscription on the Billing page of your account prior to the renewal date. Subscription payments are not refundable. If you cancel your subscription your store will remain online and you will retain access to all features of your plan until the end of the active billing period.
Any vendor who attempts to gain unauthorised access to features or services not explicitly included within the subscription they have paid for may be banned from using the site.
All sales initiated on, or that result directly from, the Cutlers Collective Australia website or Cutlers Collective Australia marketing channels should be completed using the Cutlers Collective Australia checkout. Any vendor determined to have received payment for an item, but failing to send it will be banned from Cutlers Collective Australia. Vendors are responsible for ensuring that their registered email address is up to date and is checked regularly. Failure to respond to customer queries about undelivered or unsatisfactory orders within 3 business days will result in stores being disabled and the vendor being banned from Cutlers Collective Australia. Buyers affected by such practices will be advised to take further legal actions to reclaim monies for outstanding purchases.
Vendors must have the right to use all images uploaded to the site for commercial purposes. By uploading images to cutlerscollective.com.au, vendors grant permission to Cutlers Collective Australia management and staff to use these images for reasonable promotional activities, including, but not limited to, email marketing, public relations campaigns and press releases, remarketing, social media marketing and other digital and print marketing campaigns. This includes permission to crop or otherwise edit images to improve their visual appeal for the above promotional purposes.
